How You Can Make an Impact
The Recruiter will focus on finding great talent, anticipate business needs, and coach our hiring managers to hire successfully through an inclusive lens. The recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting for external and internal candidates This will include posting open positions using internal and external networks, planning, and executing recruitment strategies ensuring a steady pipeline of applicants, and all compliance, hiring policies, practices, and company values are upheld throughout the recruitment process.


How You Will Contribute
  • Recruit for all full-time, part-time, temporary, and intern positions in conjunction with the hiring philosophy of the company.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions including but not limited to, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, conducting pre-employment drug screen/reference/background checks, making recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivering employment offers.
  • Act as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies in compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Advisor to plan and implement the company recruitment strategy.
  • Ensure all recruitment-related documents, such as interview notes, associated paperwork, and application/resume records, and ensure compliance with retention guidelines.
  • Manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (JAZZ HR) and all other sources, including social media, Indeed, and LinkedIn to source and identify qualified candidates. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities to coordinate participation in hiring fairs, internships, and off-site recruitment activities.
  • Facilitate conversations between department heads and leadership for new position requests.
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing and construction industry.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding for union workforce as needed.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, ATS, HRIS Systems.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources principles, standards, and best hiring practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a concise, professional, and timely manner.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent service orientation skills, always looking for ways to help people.Displays a positive attitude and passion for serving our internal/external customers to develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License and no driving restrictions.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience and verifiable Human resources experience
  • Preferred: aPHR or SHRM-CP Certification
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $72,000.00 -$82,000.00 annually
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
