The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex projects that require a high level of skill and experience. This position will also have a specific focus on leading and supporting the Project Managers (PMs), Associate Project Managers(APMs), and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the department.

Your Prior Experience
Required: High school Diploma or GED.
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Required: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable project management experience with a minimum of 3 years in a manager role supervising others.
Desired: Experience in utility construction.
Experience using HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job Software preferred.
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $150,000 - $170,000 annually
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.

How You Can Make an Impact
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex projects that require a high level of skill and experience. This position will also have a specific focus on leading and supporting the Project Managers (PMs), Associate Project Managers(APMs), and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the department.
How You Will Contribute
- Supervise and provide leadership to PMs and APMs, focusing on individual development within their positions.
- Set objectives for direct reports.
- Monitor team workload to ensure productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and implement best practices.
- Manage high-level complex projects from start to finish, including but not limited to timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, and adjust accordingly to ensure projects stay on track.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain a focus on project quality, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Expand existing business through relationship development with owner representatives of the project.
- Act as liaison between owner representatives and management for pricing, scheduling, and planning of projects.
- Ensure adherence to all Company safety policies and OSHA safety standards.
- Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors.
- Read blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by your supervisor.
- Manage the office facility and supervise the office manager.
What You Bring to the Table
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA requirements and safe working practices.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts and purchase orders.
- Proficient in planning, scheduling, and production with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)
- Excellent time management skills to accomplish work assignments and projects.
- Leadership skills with the ability to be a team player and lead others.
- Ability to coordinate a team of professionals from different disciplines.
- Ability to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
